Try shutting off auto correct if this works then you can go into app settings for keyboard and reset to default settings. Once done auto correct should work proper and not duplicate.

Not sure about hangout but if the texts are not syncing go into account settings on both phone and tablet go to Google account and make sure texts is checked

The screen calibration application is a feature in the Sound and Display Settings. You can quickly calibrate the touchscreen of the LG Optimus using the default calibration application.

Once you get it to lollipop boot into recovery and wipe the catch partition this should solve any issues with settings and apps not working. I would do a backup of all data this is not supposed to erase anything personal off the phone but nothing is guaranteed.

Download rom toolbox. under tools all the way at the bottom is rebooter witch will give option to reboot phone into recovery

try out "Apps Organizer", which lets you categorize your apps and create widget folders for the categories. These widget folders can be placed on home screens and are refreshed when the widget is loaded and also when you click on them.

The Lg Optimus G Pro is an excellent phone I'v owned mine since they came out and I love it. Never had a problem and there still sending out updates for it. We get them a little late but we get them. The battery last about 8 hours with heavy use. Can last about 12 hours with moderate use.
