should i take it to verizon before I root my phone? Also can anyone point out a good rom that is very stable and updated for the i535 galaxy s3?

When I first got my S3 for Verizon, I played around with the settings. Assuming I knew the SIM pin I tried around with 2 codes and didnt get them right. Apparantly it was different from my lock code and it wasnt 0000. Anyways, how can I figure this out? I havent talked to verizon about it yet...
