Thank you for the quick reply. So when I clicked on the "Friends" label, the "Get Notifications" was already unchecked... I made sure to see that it wasn't a mistake, so I checked it, then unchecked it just to be sure. Is there something else that I could be missing?

So I can't seem to find my answer in any of the threads... I'm wondering if anyone happens to know if there is a specific place I need to go to get rid of getting annoying push notifications from the Facebook app that relate to getting notifications of about friend's posts? To be more specific...
