As stated, it is hard to use the forums on a mobile device with that stupid banner in my face. It is hard to click the close button without actually hitting the ad. Great site until this happened.

Finally received the fire today. Well worth the wait. Loving it so far!!!

Great ideas. I think i will wait on rooting it. Just need to get familiar with sideloading apps. I am happy to see most users having a good time with this device. Now to find a case.......

Mine did the same thing. Take it back to Verizon and raise hell. I did and they replaced my phone with a new fassy. I am back on 2.2 I will not upgrade to GB until they fix all the stuff they broke lol.

Update bricked my phone..... Stuck on CM screen. Didnt feel like fixing it myself. Took it to Verizon for a new one. We will see if the update works when i get the replacement.

Have you tried to log onto my verizon and see if they charged you? It should show up there if you activated any services. I believe when you activate tethering you have to agree to terms of service and what not. If it just came up with an icon and no official splash screen asking you to...

Did it need for you to access permissions? Auto update will not work if there are permission changes.

Still loving my fascinate. Great battery, no problems except for some ghost button presses. Still needs to last another year before upgrade!!!

Sorry to hear that jr, I found this link check it out. Samsung Fascinate i500 LCD + Touch Screen Digitizer Replacement That's about the going rate. However this comes with the glass and the screen. All you have to do is install. Hope this helps!!
