I added the ok google widget. Now I'm back in business, thanks.

I didnt find any settings that would disable voice recognition. Any ideas why ok google isn't working? So I had the old google now launcher, and I had an automatic update applied, and it was removed. That's when I lost my voice commands.

So my ok google commands aren't recognized. Maybe I'll check settings must be disabled? I'll look for a widget. Thanks everyone.

I had google Now on my last phone. It changed the look and positioning of the icons (4 across the bottom). But the thing I really miss is the google command bar and the ability to say OK Google and make requests. I have read that Google Feed is the replacement but it doesn't seem to do any of...

Haha, I didn't realize I could get widgets from the app store.... All along I've just been using the ones on my phone....

I solved my lollipop battery overheating issue with a factory reset. Now I'm trying to add back the digital clock widget to the home screen. With the Google now launcher, it's no longer an option. Options? I really need a larger clock and date on the home screen, that's it.

I cleared cache and restarted the phone and im back in business
