Check out Dragon Mobile Speaking app. I have DT2 and do not use the moto voice. Instead I use OK Google to text outgoing, and have dragon mobile do the incoming. It works almost flawlessy. I travel in the car alot and i can hands free text all the time.

Couldn't you use an NFC tag for this?

I have had similar experience with Moto Voice. I have found a solid work around. I now use "Ok Google" to initiate comms, and Dragon Mobile to receive them. Works almost flawlessly, and better than when I had a moto x.

Do you have a link? I can't find an app with that name that is like Moto Assist. Thanks

Look at the Motorola roadster 2. I have been using one for a while. Reads incoming texts, while pausing music. Then you can reply too. You can initiate a text or call by pressing one button on the roadster. Posted via Android Central App
