I have turned Smart Lock on in the settings and chosen my home as a trusted place but not once has it worked and I have to keep unlocking my handset using the pattern. Is this a know issue too? I have seen several people mention the fingerprint/Smart Lock issue but not this. Any help would be...

I found it. It was turned off by default but once I turned it on then it appeared in the Security settings, at the bottom. I think I was a little hasty in my condemnation of this new OS. I'll give it a run for a couple of weeks and then report back, see if I can find any other hidden goodies.

I'm on Vodafone in the UK and 'upgraded' my S5 to Lollipop yesterday. So far I am struggling to see why I bothered. The only differences that I can see are the changing of the dark backgrounds to white, the Touchwiz blue lightening up a little and the lack of the music controls on the lock...
