Samsung 256GB SD Card in the S7?

Theoretically, the S7/S7 edge can read up to 2 TB cards. However, no 2 TB cards exist for commercial sale yet.

Can't Restore 'Samsung Notes' From Note 7 Smart Switch Backup

Samsung notes was exclusive to the Note 7. Samsung has yet to make it compatible for any other phones. S Note is what's available for the S7 line.

    Sticking with the Note 7?

Sticking with it. I'm too invested in the Samsung ecosystem, and having wireless charging and USB-C. The screen is too flipping beautiful.

    Verizon Note 7 Recall Thread

Swapped mine on Tuesday. Took 20 minutes longer because I didn't hear my name called the first time.

Looks like Gorilla Glass 5 scratches easily

I never keep anything in the same pocket as my phone if I can help it. If I can't, I position the screen away from the objects. Learned my lesson having the S6 naked with a phone charm in the jack. Scratched it, but no effect on the screen view. Old glass would've been deep. Besides, I didn't...

Odds that the Note will ship early?

I got an email that mine shipped last night (Aug. 14). It says I should receive it by Thursday by 4:30p. It's coming from Linwood, PA, west of Philly. So it may be early. Ironically, the Shipping Center it's coming from is on Blueball Avenue....not joking. Pennsylvanians are...

Samsung Pay: Useful Tool or Cool Novelty?

I work as a cashier at a leading pharmacy chain, and we've got the chip readers enabled. It annoys me as much as it annoys the customers. To speed things up when I get rung up on break, I use Samsung Pay whenever I can. It's useful when I shop at skeevy places as well.

    Wireless Charging Pop-Up?

That little flourish was created and added with the Note 5 and the 6 edge+. The S6 never had that to begin with. Samsung may be adding it in with the Marshmallow update, but I am not completely sure.

Replaced Sim Card now battery draining fast and phone hot

I'd go back to T-Mobile and have them diagnose the phone. Back your phone up through Smart Switch for Windows (or Mac, if that's your bag) before you go just in case you need to swap hardware at the store. Sounds like your phone is having trouble translating the PRL (Preferred Roaming List). It...

The Avengers theme, any screen shots are welcome.

They've got Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and a generic Avengers theme (to cover the others).

New Verizon 5.0 lollipop Build Dropped today??

Tried updating twice, downloaded update, rebooted, got Error code 410. wouldn't know it failed if not for Pushbullet's notification mirroring.

Battery life not good under Lollipop

I get that as well, but my phone still overheats. Going by iFixit's teardown, the hottest area is either the RAM, the phone memory, or an RF chip. Putting it in Power Saving mode or turning off Wifi makes it cooler. I've already factory reset twice. Stinks that a software update made the phone...

Galaxy S5 Battery Life Problem: Please Help

That's normal. Games take a lot of processing power, and that power has to come form somewhere (The battery). The S5 has a really good processor, so it does better at processor intensive tasks. Plus, don't have unused apps running in the background all the time. They use battery too.

    What happened to "OK Google"

Re: What happened to "OK Google" Actually, I was able to invoke it on my Galaxy S5 with the screen off. Not technically asleep, but still counts. It doesn't work when the S Cover is closed, thank God.
