It's all about the fit. I have used wired Etymotics and Focal Sphere ear buds and Bluetooth Phiatons. I used comply foam tips for all. The AKGs sound true to me - not too tiny or muddy with a sound stage that is at least as good as Etymotics - and I have not yet received the comply tips for...
