During the process, when (and if) do you insert the Tracfone sim card (for Verizon Galaxy S3)? Is it mandatory to be rooted? Do you enter the ESN in the DEC box under the MEID or ESN section?

The crazy thing is, 18+ hrs later, I boot my laptop up and plug it in via USB, and it magically works like nothing happened. I would have thought I was the crazy one if I hadn't come across this post. I didn't uninstall any drivers, all I did was try different USB ports at the time it happened...

I am having the exact same issue. It just started today. Hopefully there is a fix for it....I'm using a rooted Droid 2 (Liberty Gingerbread). It has been working fine for the past few days.
