I'm very puzzled by the problem. The Telegraph UK edition worked fine on an iPad but not on my tablet. Luckily an update to Chrome resolved all my issues which were numerous.

Assume it was a coincidence, but very surprising it happened exactly the same day. I read the Telegraph every day on the tablet and have done, trouble free with that and everything else, until Friday.

I reinstalled the telegraph app but no joy. Tried all the usual things too. Google Chrome update resolved it. Noticed it was last updated 2 days ago.

Well, it's all fine now! I checked for any app updates and updated Google Chrome. To my surprise, all my other apps are now working fine. Very strange and never ever happened before over the 8 years. I still might buy a new one. Thanks for your replies

Thanks B.Diddy for your reply. I have a Gmail account that has stopped working on the Samsung email app and the Gmail app. Emails arrive but opening them causes the apps to stop. Also have typeapp and same scenario. Newspaper is the Telegraph app. Again, app opens but no content is visible. I...

Thanks for the replies but it's very much a coincidence that so much has gone wrong since yesterday. Seems too much of a coincidence. 8 years trouble free until yesterday. No changes made for weeks to software
