I've reformatted pretty much everything and started from scratch with a fresh install of the ROM and it still does it. The lower the volume you use the more "soft" parts get cut off. If you put the volume on full blast it doesn't cut out, I assume because it's picking up the low parts better...

I'll pass on it. The only reason I switched to VM + Optimus V was to save money overall, so that wouldn't work in my situation. Plus the Optimus V does what I need and more just fine for me.
