Verizon pushing Android update to my LG G2 -- what is it??

    It's actually worse for me.

    Is Marshmallow coming to G2?

They COULD fix Lollipop on it if they'd just roll out 5.1.1. I think the biggest problem most people have with 5.0.2 is the battery issues, and I've read that those are fixed with 5.1.1. I have a Google News category for LG G2 and it's amazing how many articles there are about it getting/not...

Verizon pushing Android update to my LG G2 -- what is it??

That's unfortunate. My phone is working fine (well, still has a battery drain issue but I've had that ever since I installed 5.0.2).

Verizon pushing Android update to my LG G2 -- what is it??

So I decided to let the update get installed and indeed I did end up at VS9803AA and still 5.0.2. Presumably there was some major Android security fix that needed to be rolled out. I figure the odds of it fixing my battery drain problem are very slim.

Verizon pushing Android update to my LG G2 -- what is it??

Yes, that's likely it. I did a chat with Verizon support on FB and ended up with this: The most current software available on your phone is Vs9803AA. It is one letter different than your current software version. LG G2 Software Update Benefits | Verizon Wireless has information about your...

Verizon pushing Android update to my LG G2 -- what is it??

I just got notified of a system update for my LG G2. It claims to have "Android Security Patches". I thought that 5.1.1 wasn't going to happen on the G2 and 6.0 was still a while away. Or is this something else entirely? When I click on the link they have, it takes me to a page with a rollout...

Why is my Amazon Appstore using heavy battery with Lollipop after updating other apps?

Re: Amazon Appstore heavy battery use with Lollipop after updating other apps The reboot did solve the problem initially, but.as soon as I installed another app using Google Play Store, it came back. Strangely, even now, a few reboots later (for various reasons) and with my machine running...

Re: Amazon Appstore heavy battery use with Lollipop after updating other apps I am the original poster. That is the version of the Appstore app that I have installed.

What would cause an app to take a grainy picture when the camera works fine otherwise?

I was able to deposit a couple of checks successfully today. Bit of a pain to have to manually focus but at least it works.

What would cause an app to take a grainy picture when the camera works fine otherwise?

So thanks for the suggestion to use HDR. I tried that, and the bank app did not seem to like it, but it did look better before it hung/crashed. Anyway, I spoke to the guy at the bank who deals with mobile banking issues (he was out when I first had the problem). He suggested that I try touching...

What would cause an app to take a grainy picture when the camera works fine otherwise?

Thanks.. they claim that they have not seen this problem with other customers so I tend to doubt they are taking low res images. I tried setting the resolution to 3m but there was no change. Clearly the app controls how the phone operates since with the Chase app, the flash goes off when...

What would cause an app to take a grainy picture when the camera works fine otherwise?

This is probably not the right place to post this as it's too specific (and the problem is not likely specific to the phone), but what would cause an app to take a poor quality grainy picture on my Incredible 2? It's a mobile banking app, I am using the mobile check deposit portion. The camera...

How do you take a screen shot?

Wow, I can't believe they finally added this feature! I got a message on my screen saying that the image had been saved and sure enough, they're with my images!
