I have the G3 and honestly would rather have a 1080p screen if it meant longer battery life. The 4K screen is amazing when watching 4K videos, but I never do, so it's a gimmick to me :P

I use the Candy5 Sprint ROM on mine, and it works really well. I have had some issues with my LG G Watch disconnecting and being unable to reconnect (Bluetooth shows no devices found. I never had this issue before Candy5), and I'd love to see NFC working. Aside from that, I love the ROM.

Nova is definitely smoother for me. I don't really care about losing double tap to lock, I never used it anyway.

Just get a thin case that is a bit taller than the screen so that when you drop it, it falls on the case and not the screen. It's not obtrusive (at least for me) and will stop most cracks from happening :)

It's not too big, not much bigger than the G3 which I use daily. I'll have people with smaller phones use mine and they say that it's huge, but to me it's a normal size. I guess it just grew on me, I don't see why the G4 can't :)
