Had the same problem. checked the hidden service menu. Factory resets did not work, but a factory reset from within the service menu worked.

I can't believe they haven't fixed it yet! 1 motherboard and 1 screen replacement. New one ALSO has a retention problem which is VERY COMMON and gets worse overtime. Have heard a Telecom provider gave a new device to another problem, but LG says screen retention "IS NOT A PROBLEM"? seriously...
