No. If the battery life were not awful the phone would be ok. Though if you are picking up a used one and not comitting to a new 2 year contract it wouldn't be the worst choice. The data drops could leave you frustrated though. I would explore other options first.

I would try some recovery software on it when plugged into a pc.

Have you tried putting the tbolt sd card in the lucid? The transferring the pics to dropbox picasa or someplace?

There are already leaked Ics builds on xda that you can apply to the a500 without being rooted. They sure appear to be working on it.

I thought it had something to do with apps on the sd card.

Take the as card out and put it in a pc to see if it really is corrupt. Get an microsd to sd adapter.

Just uninstall and re-install. I have done it 3 times and it works again after giving me the subscription thing after I exit the app. Sadly the reps have no clue....that's why i started this thread b/c I know the forums have the answers that verizon doesn't. I have f&f too it has zip to do...
