is this a forgotten phone at this point? Still want CM11

Sorry to waste your time, but no idea what you're talking about. I've been waiting for a stable version of CM11. There is none (for Verizon or Sprint) yet. My question is, why not? And, will there be?

is this a forgotten phone at this point? Still want CM11

I don't have sprint, I have Verizon - but either way, there's no *stable* version of CM11 available. I don't just want any kitkat rom (I have one, in fact, installed already). I want Cyanogen Mod 11. It's not available for Sprint or Verizon versions. There's nightlies, but I'm not interested in...

is this a forgotten phone at this point? Still want CM11

Do we think Cyanogen will ever release CM11 for this phone? Or has this model already passed its prime? Frustrating how quickly this seems to happen.

Sigh... Finally got my bootloader unlocked, s-off and rooted, and now what?

Zero replies... I guess not much interest in this topic, which is why not much development so far!

I really miss Cyanogen, but no stable for my phone = I'm waiting. Hopefully they'll drop CM11 for this phone soon, but I have a feeling it will be a while.

    Touch screen woes

I dig the nexus 7 and use it daily at work, but the touchscreen is definitely wonky. Its either far too sensitive and causes unintentional presses,or it gets stuck, and a light touch results in a long hold (ie. tap the "u" key and it pops up 7 and holds there until I do something to correct it...

    Total wipe/reset while rooted?

Hey guys - been using the GNex as my daily driver for about 18 months now. Still a solid phone, but it's gotten bogged down, and is getting very laggy/buggy. I'm rooted, running Cyanogen Mod, whatever the latest one is. What's the best way to totally wipe/reset the whole device and start from...

    VZW 4.2.2 vs. CM 10.1

I like CM 10.1 better. One big thing is the ability to choose which tiles are in the quick settings thing, which I like. Plus, CM10.1 keeps the status bar quick settings (i.e. when you pull the bar down, at the top in a row are toggle icons for wifi, bluetooth, etc. - saves an extra click/motion...

Is the battery life as bad as I read? Should I buy one used?

I admit I haven't tried disabling 4G (which I didn't know made a difference), but that aside, the battery is awful, yes. I typically restrict my use depending on how quickly I know I can get to a charger. Using it as much as I want (which typically means browsing internet sites and using the...

AOKP User here... what should be my next move?

Thanks guys! I ended up going with CM9 RC2 for the time being. I would like to get Jelly Bean going, but for now I'm enjoying being back on CM after a long hiatus. I can't wait for either AOKP Jelly Bean or CM10 to get dropped, then I'll upgrade again!

AOKP User here... what should be my next move?

I've been on the same AOKP version for a few months now. Overall I like it fine, but it's become rather buggy (especially w/r/t bluetooth media, which often requires me to reboot the phone before it'll work, and a few other less annoying bugs). I've been waiting with baited breath for an...

Yay... a minor update that took MONTHS to release

NOPE. I don't buy that for a second. This phone was a piece of GARBAGE when I first got it as far as usability as a smartphone. The data would cut out every 10 minutes, and sometimes not come back for hours. That should have been an emergency for Verizon. They should have pushed an update out...

Lost root after updating to 4.0.4

A bit confused... why would you bother updating? Why not just use a 4.0.4 rom? Is there a difference? Not trying to be a dick, I'm just curious.

Yay... a minor update that took MONTHS to release

Does anyone else find it repulsive that this 4.0.4 garbage is being pushed out in JUNE? I wasn't even an early adopter of this phone, and I've had it for 4 months already with ZERO updates. I don't particularly care because I rooted and flashed my 4.0.4 radios months ago, but if I hadn't or...

    Leaving the Nexus behind

If you haven't rooted first, you're crazy. I rooted a long time ago... the 4.0.4 radio fixes those handoff issues, and battery life, while still not amazing, is at least a full day.
