Ok thanks toast3d. I don't want to lost root, I guess I was confused. I was under the impression that after flashing unrevoked forever I would still have root even after an OTA. But the OTA didn't work for me anyway lol. I got some exclamation mark error.

Ok, well if I'm at 2.1 and want Froyo (I'm already rooted) what do you suggest I do toast3d?

Hey everyone, I have run Unrevoked Forever (after having already run Unrevoked 3). My question now is, what exactly do I need to do to be able to OTA update to Froyo now? My understanding is that I'll be able to always keep root after an OTA. I'm very grateful for this exploit from unrevoked...

I have a question that through my searching has not been directly answered clearly....If I upgraded to 1.47.651.1, is there a way that I would be able to downgrade to the original EVO release ruu? From there I could simply redo the unrevoked 1 method and stay with that for a while. I understand...

So far nope...I can't believe I did that. I was distracted when I got the upgrade prompt and accepted it lol. We will have to just follow the guys at Unrevoked and see if the hole that allowed the 1-click Unrevoked is still exploitable. If not...they said they might have a RUU we can flash back...

Well...I messed up today and updated to the new HTC software update which of course said goodbye to my wifi tethering. Is it possible to rollback by doing a factory reset?
