Okay, So I rooted my device a LONG time ago, and now wish to revert it back to the stock OS for this device. The reason being, I purchased a new Tab S2 and will be selling this one. Can someone explain how this is done, and the origional ROM to revert to? Its the WiFi version. Thanks, Chris

I download the nightly around every other month or so... never had a problem. Although it will not update automaticly, I have to do it manually.

Hey all, I just picked up a Note 8.0 I didn't realize it was so, well, "old" lol. It just seems like an awesome little device :) It shipped with JB 4.1.2 and there is no update available according to the unit or Kies. I guess I'm mostly worried about the security issues with the older firmware...

I haven't even got my (first android) device yet and I'm worried about this already :( I couldn't stand to be locked down by Apple any more, only to come to this :( I guess I'me going to have to learn to root my brand new device.
