    wireless network says connected but icon grey

    Your suggestion worked for me, I had an Internet access but the icon was grey, the wireless access point security encryption type was set to Auto. I set it to TKIP the icon turned blue. My gadget is Lenovo A3000-H and the access point is TP-Link Thank you
