Hello, I have an unlocked t-mobile galaxy s3 and i am using Straight Talk. I was able to use tethering, but once i updated the phone to 4.1.1 I was not able to tether anymore. Is there a way to bypass this? can I root my phone? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Assuming that 'plan B' still didnt download, If i do those two steps now will the app still download from google play later?

My phone was stock, Just had google accounts. How would I use 'Plan B'. Do i Just install it on the phone that was stolen? Never mind, I read the directions. I have already disabled my phone with sprint so i am assuming that they will need a Wifi connection for it to download.
