well if you are yet to see always on it's basically a black and white mode where all you can see is the time and some other information, should be extremely efficient on a OLED display and is kinda similar to active display on the Moto X why? well the gesture they talked about seemed (in demos)...

always on is a standard option in Android Wear so expect to see it on the Moto 360 since they have extremely limited ability to customize the system image you can set it in the companion app as well as the setting on the watch btw

the Best Buy leak said LCD which makes sense in terms of cost and in a lot of videos it does seem to have a bit of backlight bleeding (though that could just be the colour balance of the videos), but Best Buy could have easily gotten the wrong information (they also list that it has WiFi) so...

not terribly fond of the straps sticking out like that, I prefer the the strap style of the Moto 360 and Uniform Ware 104

while I agree that it's usually better to announce a product and release it soon after (before the hype dies down) I think they might have gotten pushed out the door by Google this time, since Google is the one to announce Android Wear not Motorola and I'm not sure what people have been hearing...

I think it's a good sign that it blends in that well, the more it looks like a watch the more likely the muggles will be interested in it when it is announced

Re: Motorola: Moto 360 Smartwatch powered by Android Wear mostly people should want more than a day battery life so at least if they forget to charge it one night they can still use it the next day, or if they travel and might not get to charge it that often but really the longer the better I...

in some images (can't find them again, sorry) you can actually see the ambient light sensor, about the same size as it is on most smartphones I think (a bit over 1mm diameter)
