Thanks.... I had tried the above reccomendation of formatting, it was a temp fix because it started doing it again. I wound up buying a 16GB class 10 & no further problems. BTW it screams now.....:D

This may not help you, but I was having problems locking up on SRF 1.1.1 & Bonsia 4.xxx, it wound up being a failing SD card, I replaced it with a 16 gig class 10 & not another issue.

Yes, I have to rerun the update every few days to stop the OTA prompt. Minor issue.....:confused: But....For your other question...I used FOTAkill to stop the OTA prompt when I was on EC05 & didn't want to change......it is still in my phone, I restored it when the OTA came out, but it is not...

Dude.... Have you tried any custom roms? Most of them will get you really good battery life. I haven't jumped to el30 yet. I am still waiting for the Dev's to work their magic.....:D Is it much different from ei22? I'm on CleanGB MTD right now.

I think if you stay on a standard GB rom you should be able to restore a Nandroid backup of the previous steup. If you flash a MTD version rom you will get close to 700mb of internal storeage but you must Odin back with repartition checked to get back to a BML rom. I was running SRF 1.1...
