I used the for3ver root method and used the cmd line tool to root my bionic. After it was finished I applied the ota update and I'm happy to say that it is still rooted. Also as an FYI I had never applied any leaked updates or flashed any ROM's before this. BTW my 3g/4g signal is better...

I ended up upgrading from a Blackberry Tour 9630 to the Bionic and I am completely satisfied with this phone. I have not experienced any of the issues that most users seem to be plagued with by their bionics. Its seems like its hit or miss for most issues that bionic owners seem to experience...

You'll be able to keep your unlimited plan and renew for a 2 yr upgrade. You can get a new contract there as well for the $199 price. I was able to keep my unlimited plan when i renewed my contract and upgraded from the tour to the bionic. I'm averging 17mbs download speeds with this 4g lte...

Just bought my bionic. Cost a total of $215 and some change(tax included). Huge upgrade from the bb tour!

Thats what it sounds like. So if everything is true then the Bionic will be selling for $199 on a new 2 year contract or 2 year contract upgrade.

Just saw a thread over at droid forums stating that all verizon phones that Radio Shack sells will be $100 off of the contract price starting tomorrow. If this is the case, then i'm heading over there tomorrow to get my Bionic! :D
