Check for updates people. I did last night and got a patch. Fixed the GPS and made the phone a bit snappier.

Wipe your phone. Then do update. There's a thread about that.

Yes back up with kies. Then on your phone go to Settings|General|backup and reset. Once there, the bottom item should be factory data reset. Hit that and follow screen prompts. I haven't had the issues. My phone is like a brand new device out of the box. Very fast and stable. Call quality is awesome. Download and data speeds are very fast.

I telling you. Save the agrevation and wipe you device in the settings and then do the ota update...my not 3 is insanely fast now...

I had to wipe my phone to get it to work.

And mine just failed on my second attempt...24 more hours to try again...irritating...
