You don't. You have to start the plex movie in chrome and tab cast it.

Joanne, your CC doesn't detect the 5ghz broadcast. I have two broad cast coming from my routher(2.4 and 5 ghz) and the CC will only detect the 2.4 broadcast. If it's connecting, it's connecting to your 2.4 broadcast.

Re: compatible with an HDMI switch? CEC I believe is the technology that is behind turning on the t.v. when it's off. I unfortunately can't take advantage of it because I have the CC powered by the open usb port on my tv which doesn't provide power when the tv is off.

I would imagine it does because when I watched the killing earlier today, it displayed the details on the screen(HD,5.1). I don't have my tv hooked up to my surround to test though.

Return it and go to best buy and get one. I bought mine around 1pm yesterday and best buy sent me my code through my rz email.
