I use SMS backup+. It works with any text/SMS you're using and backs up all text to your Gmail to a separate folder you can mark as read so no notifications doubling up. Used it for years, still go back to find things from old text. One of the best apps I've ever had as far as usefulness goes...

I still haven't gotten anything. I check, says I'm current. Clearly not. I do seem to have even more craptastic bloat though. Maybe I'll end up doing a reset and staring over, and clear all the extra did that I don't use want or need. Now to figure out what's actually needed.... Posted via...

I'm still battling this one. Been circumventing risk by backing up everything in my old phone syncing that... but I should not have to do so! Anyone found a final solution yet? Posted via the Android Central App
