I have enquired about the update FOR RS988 model. So ideally we shall expect the update by start of May month.

I sent an email to LG and below is their response Dear Vignesh This is a staff of LG Product Security Response Team(LG PSRT) First of all, I’m very sorry for late Nougat update. Android 7.0 update will be released at the beginning of May. Again, LG apologize at late update. Regards, LG PSRT

Finally LG has heard us.. Hopefully we will get nougat too..
