It's happening to every widget I have, except for the stock clock widget. You name it, weather network, downloaded clock widgets, google calendar, and even the gmail widget. I guess I'll wait and see how they are after the next app updates I guess.

Had this problem for awhile now since I updated from kitkat. Widgets on my Nexus 7 will freeze after a few hours of the tablet being on, but not the stock widgets, very similar to an old thread in the Nexus 5 forums (which I can't link yet). Any one else having this problem? I've factory reset...

Thanks, ended up ordering a Poetic Revolution case because it was a much better price. I may have to invest in one of those waterproof covers as I believe the Poetic case only offers about as much protection as the Trident.
