Long story short, if you have a Samsung device which you can get to Download mode, you can just flash the stock firmware via Odin and get it back from the almost-dead.

I faced a slightly different problem with my S4 last week when I dropped it into a puddle. I did manage to get the battery out in time, and kept it to dry overnight. Next day, the lightning indicator just wouldn't come one when I plugged it into the wall charger or USB, but the phone charge...
Except for the fingerprint sensor and updgraded RAM ..theres nothing really there to compel an upgrade from the s4

@Eskibz..Try out Simple & Clean Rom with the Speedmod kernel...or the CheckRom HD Revolution 3.1 with the Siyah Kernel....im getting close to 2 days of battery life with both..and i have 3G and GPS on all the time...and use tapatalk a lot...with sone 30 mins of FB and an hour of listening to...
If they are in mobi or prc format..kindle should be ble to read them as long as you place them in the kindle folder on the xoom....

If you can export your bb contacts to a csv file...im sure android shpuld be able to import it....you should be able to find several free apps on the market which can do that

Lol...we are lucky to have steady 3g for now....ill keep my fingers crossed on 4g....if youre thinking of getting a 4g device...hold off for now..unless youre getting a damn good deal
