Thank you that did it. I didn't know it was called a dynamic island but once I saw that I remembered seeing dynamic something in my apps so I just looked and found it and it is gone now. Thank you again for the help.

Clock app on left in screenshot shows when it was downloaded from the app store while the app on the right has that part grayed out

Alright thank you I will give getting rid of one a try, if I remember correctly the one on the right that I'm using is the one that came on the phone but I'll check and let you know one way or the other if the issue is resolved

S23U, how do I boot into safe mode (I've done it but can't remember) and then what do I look for These are the 2 clock apps I have, using the one on the right

It goes straight to the clock app, i just checked and I have 2 clock apps so maybe it's something to do with that one but I can't find anything in the settings to get rid of it, only to get rid of the one that shows in my notifications. For some reason even with timers on throughout the day...

I remember getting an app that would give me the little timer display like iphones in the top center of the screen but now I'm trying to get rid of it and can't remember the name of the app to find it. Anyone happen to know exactly which app this is?

I don't think so. Doss it blink different or give a low battery warning? I did finally get them to connect but the jbl headphones app wouldn't work which I use for the equalizer but an uninstall and reinstall seemed for fix that. And now that they are kind of working again they will connect but...

I tried the factory reset with no luck and probably going to try again. I don't think the buds are staying on long enough to do the reset. The app isn't available in my country and I don't have a VPN right now since money is so tight.

Is there a way to have a different sound for text messages, app notifications, etc. I feel like that used to be something you could do on older models and I like knowing without looking at the phone or my watch if it's one or the other
