anthony and gannon, those are great ideas. =) However, mine was more bootleg, if you will... (read: not favorable) I noticed the end of the file was littered with key inputs for what it seemed a game pad. I deleted it all and was able to push the file. Working home button, yay. :D

I'm trying the Home button fix but I ran into an error: Failed to copy 'Generic.kl' to '/system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl': No space left on device Any ideas how to work around this?

I used this version and all I get is Gmail. YouTube doesn't play videos and Market doesn't install. Found a 3.4.4 apk that works until you want to download something. XD At this point, I guess just wait until drew irons stuff out. This is all a good start. :-)

How exactly do I open this file and from where? I'm sorry, super n00b here but I'm willing to try. I'm not that dull, just no clue where to find this. xD EDIT: Nevermind, I know where it is. Problem is, I don't have a working market to download a file manager. =(

The only information I can give you is when ICS first booted up, it said Android is Upgrading (or something to that effect) with a black background and it updated 67 components/applications/god-knows-what-i-saw. I guess if you ask me for something specific, I can help some more.

Just some input: I saw a few pages back that some guy erasing his dalvik cache and regular cache allowed him to only receive text messages upgrading from cm7. I decided to install kraven's cm7.2 and dirty flashed to this rom. I can confirm that I can send and receive text messages. =) No data...
