I updated an hour ago.... I then noticed that I couldn't update the apps I was being notified of... based another thread the aren't related....

I am experiencing the same thing. I thought it was because I updated to 4.1.2. Sounds like it has been ongoing.

I had the same problem. I looked into the jack and didn't see any lint or anything. I still stuck a paperclip in their to clear out anything that may be in there....nothing. Retried my headphones....they worked! Not sure if what I did, but they work now. Hope that helps! mrjam3s
