I first switched over to Honeycomb. Loved the thought of using something that wasn't officially out yet, but it was buggy and sometimes slow. I'm now running Rooted 1.1 and loving it, does everything I want with good speed and little to no problems.

Honeycomb, as well as the other methods covered in this forum, are mainly to turn your Nook into a full tablet. Your Stock Nook is very limited, intentionally by Barnes and Noble, but full blown Android is laying just underneath the surface. I'm not too experienced with all of the rooting and...

Has anybody loaded a good working emulator on their NC? I'd love to have any of them but am wondering about performance and would rather not end up spending money on one if the NC doesn't handle it well. I'm running Stock Root.

Yep, that's kinda what I really wanted. Rooted Stock is super clean and feels native, but with access to the marketplace...and is extremely easy to install.

Switched from Honeycomb to Rooted Stock, HC was just to buggy and slow for normal use. Im actually enjoying Rooted Stock quite a bit and my wife definitely prefers the stock UI and it runs everything i want it to, especially when paied up with the Zeam launcher.

Everything went fine on the command prompt side, but i still cant get root explorer to open with superuser access. I open root explorer and a message comes up saying i dont have root access. superuser access permission doesnt even come up.

i'm soooo close, and im sure i hit a newb step, how am I supposed to "fix superuser app in honeycomb"? I pull up the superuser app but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do from there *i found out that i may just need to clear the cache for superuser, i'll cry here some more if it doesnt wokr
