I turned off the phone, opened the back cover, slid the SD card into the slot and closed the back cover again. Then I turned the phone back on. Easy peasy.

Everything works perfectly and quickly. Fast charges wired with no problem. Only wireless does not work at all. I've even tried it with fast wireless on and off with no luck.

I've got two of them and neither one is working. I've also tried different cables and plugs. No luck at all.

So, I used each battery for a couple of days. I wanted to give them each a fair try. Both are pretty unreliable. Generally speaking they don't hold a charge very well, and my SOT is a bit worse than it was before. I would say don't bother with either one.

While I appreciate your taking the time to answer my post over two years later, I don't think you understood my original question. I'm looking for a way to have some program do this automatically each night. I know how to manually do it.

Its almost certainly something you installed. I've been using my Verizon V10 since November and it is as quick as when I got it.

I'm not sure it's having much of an impact on my battery one way or the other, but I do like the auto brightness adjustment every time I turn my phone on.

Just to jump into this, if anyone can recommend a plastic one with a head strap that is good for long periods of use, I would be very appreciative. I'm looking for something that I can travel with to watch movies on.

You heard wrong. It works with any case with some V10s and doesn't work at all in a case with other V10s. It has nothing to do with the case or with the finger. In any case, a software fix is coming.
