Anyone install that software update?

I thought I understood just fine and then I read your response and was confused as hell. If you were insinuating that they are pushing an update to Europe because they use a higher voltage to charge the phone then the US does, then I get that. Although why would that matter? Don't the wall...

So Samsung is suppose to put out a software update in Europe to only allow 60% charge on the note 7. If they do this for the US version then I will give in and turn the phone in. I hope they don't.

Google is showing Verizon for that address. Which sucks, wish it was going to Samsung.

Are you sure? I could of sworn even the note 7 was eligible once you hit 50%.

I think most of the newer phones are eligible for an upgrade once you hit 50% of the balance paid. I think others are 75%.

When I called Verizon earlier today they said there is a separate set of operators handling the Note 7 calls. Here's the number 888-987-4357, hope it helps.

Starting tomorrow the FFA is banning all Note 7's from flights. If your caught your phone will be confiscated and you could be fined.

Can someone take a picture of the address label when they get the fire proof box to return their note 7? I'm curious to know if it's going to a Verizon warehouse or a Samsung one.
