So how is everyone liking the camera?

Where do I find a Gcam port that actually works on the V40?

    Favorite LG v40 Cases

The Spigen Tough Armor has a kickstand. Nice case, but I still wish the button covers were more tactile. The cover over the 'assistant' button (disabled) has an easy to find texture, but none of the others.

    December 1 security update

Just checked and it was available. I'm still eagerly anticipating Pie since I had been using it on my Pixel XL before I bought the V40.

    V40 or OnePlus 6T

I transitioned to my v40 on Wednesday night and I'm really liking this phone. Coming from Nexus and Pixel phones, the LG software is better / less burdensome that I would have expected, albeit working through the myriad Settings can get a bit tedious. My only real complaint is related to Oreo...

    Favorite LG v40 Cases

I got my v40 last night and the Spigen Tough Armor case. This case is -very- nice, the TPU inner case has a nice solid feel to it rather than the more rubbery feel from other TPU cases. It feels very solid and grippy in my hand. The only thing I would change would be to make the button covers...

    Favorite LG v40 Cases

I just ordered a v40 and would like some recommendations on cases. I've always preferred 'slim' cases made out of grippy polycarbonate rather than TPU. The Banzn case in gravel green caught my eye on Amazon, but it doesn't have any reviews yet. I know this case isn't quite what I just...

    V40 or OnePlus 6T

We switched from ATT to Tmobile recently and my Pixel XL has been feeling a bit long in the tooth. I was able to put my hands on the 6T, v40 and Pixel 3 today. I liked the v40 more than I thought I would, but not for $900+. $750 is reasonable, but the NIB deals for the Tmo v40 on Swappa were...

    64 or 128 GB

I suppose 128GB makes senses if you download and go video or have expensive / spotty data. 32GB on my 5x was more than enough for me. Can. I backup my 64GB iPad to my 128GB Pixel XL?

Thinking of Jumping from iPhone 7 to Pixel 2. I have some questions.

I switched to Mac in 2007 from Windows. I switched to Android from an iPhone with the Nexus 4. Fortunately I never got sucked in by the smart watch thing. I prefer wearing an automatic watch since it doesn't require charging, just wearing. While I did have an Android tablet, I'm using an...

    Pixel and 'pure android' experience.

I also owned a Nexus One and while it was a great piece of hardware (actually I still have it), 'Eclair' was a positively awful experience. I don't remember 'Froyo' being much better. I don't believe I ever made it to 'Gingerbread' before I went back to an iPhone. You really need to use an...

    Panda - Yes or No?

No to 'Panda'. It gives me flashbacks to the preposterous superhero 'Oreo' statue unveiling. Regardless, I don't run my phones bareback, so phone color doesn't matter much when it's covered by a case.

Buyers Remorse. Anyone starting to get it?

I bought a 128GB Pixel XL (unopened 6p replacement). No regrets, this is a great phone. While I've enjoyed my Nexus 4, 5 and 5x, I just couldn't justify the (Pixel 2 XL) spend for an LG phone sight unseen / unheld.

Are you going to upgrade to the Pixel 2?

I broke down and bought an unopened Pixel XL resale. I couldn’t get right with paying so much for an LG Pixel 2 XL day one. Need to give it some time and see if it is worth the premium over my LG Nexus 4, 5 and 5x. I really like the Pixel XL (HTC) build quality, very substantial, especially...

Pixel 2 XL first Leaked Shot with Pricing

Hopefully there is more to the event than pulling a sheet off giant Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones made out of Oreos sitting in the middle of some park.

LG V30 Releases 9/21 in South Korea, rest of the world "soon", in SK it's $839

Re: LG V30 Releases 9/21 in South Korea, rest of the world "soon", in SK it's $839 The point was AT&T vs Verizon marketing to mainstream customers. LG is AT&T's only real premium Android option after Samsung. There has never been any question as to whether the Pixel2 will be sold...
