Looks like CM10 has an official unofficial preview build. I'm sticking with AOKP for now, but would be interested in hearing feedback if anyone gives it a try.

Is it faster to auto restore (when it works) and just restore app data through TiBu or mybackup pro, or stop the auto restore and restore app data + apks through TiBu /mybackup pro?

As dmmarck says, do a clockwise wipe: factory reset, cache, davlik cache, system. Just those. For a dirty flash just omit the factory reset.

Starting yesterday, when I try to power down or reboot, the phone goes blank and freezes. I need to do a battery pull to reboot. This has happened with different roms and different kernels so I assume it's not the rom or kernel. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!
Does anyone know the source of preview 2? I saw the post on RootzWiki - is that person associated with AOKP? The reason I ask is that preview 2 doesn't show up in Roman's goo.im account where his other previews/test roms are. Also, neither Roman or AOKP made an announcement of a preview 2...
So, what's the word? Is the preview build ready to be the go-to rom until build 41 comes out (better than jellybro)? I have it downloaded, but want to check in before doing a clean flash.

There's another Roman JB rom at goo.im rom/edt/toro. Added tonight. Don't know if it's meant for public use.

I'm using SwiftKey now on jellybro. I read others were having trouble with the setup. I think the fix was going into settings, language & input, and completing the SwiftKey setup through there instead of the app.

By the way, with the TWRP backups, there are a lot of options. The default selects system, data, and boot. Should any other options be selected? Should any be not selected when doing a typical restore?
