I don't use the pixel launcher I use Nova launcher there are no adds and you can ditch the Google search bar and the Google weather widget if you want it's awesome and very customizable. All the new things in 9.0 still work with Nova launcher.

So I just got the update notice and am installing now. My phone just picked it up on it's own I didn't hit the check for updates. Don't know if this has been said or not but good news for those of us on at&t according to the description 8.1 will bring us HD calling.

Still no update for me. For the record I got November update the day it was released. I have a unlocked 2xl on at&t. Wife has a OG pixel unlocked on at&t and has not got the update either.

I think they are ok sometimes they sound great others times just meh. I have a otter box case and when the phone is clipped into my holster it covers the speakers and the sound just fires into my waist and I miss text messages all the time because I don't hear the notification unless is quiet...
