New Nexus Devices(s) rumored for the 30th.....anyone excited?

Re: New Nexus on the 29th!!! :-) :-) meh, no interest in a 5 inch phone. Worst of all worlds for this user, neither big enough to replace a tablet nor mobile enough for what I want in a phone. Hoping for a Nexus w/ 4.25 ish inch screen.

    New Nexus?

I don't care who makes the next Nexus. Just give me one on Verizon that will actually get updates (hello Google, please thump the slow red one over the head with a baseball bat). And, pretty please, how about a screen that is sort of visible outside in sunlight? A few of us leave buildings...

    Images of the "Competition" (iPhone5)

US versions of S3 use Qualcomm MSM8960 onboard cellular baseband. Rumors are that Apple will use the new 28nm MDM9615 chipset with the upcoming iPhone.

    I'm so indecisive ......

I initially planned to get the GN and even made a stop to the local Verizon store to buy one. But in the end I am going to wait. For one thing I expect the price to come down as the next wave of phones gets released, and I am not in a hurry. I also think we're at a point with LTE where I am...

    Returned GNex, back to DROID

I'm running an alpha ICS on my OG DROID. Those little tanks just keep on going and going.

Now that it's official, What are you doing?

Ditto. I also want to see what the battery life is like. My phone goes running, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, field work, and so on, very often using the gps for long periods of time. In the car, in the office, on a bus, at home ... the larger screen would be great, but for most of those...

Are you getting the Nexus Prime?

Wait and see. Screen size might be too big, and I will want to see what ICS brings to the table. I'm done drooling over hardware; I need a mobile device that is tightly integrated into a usable package.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

Sounds good with the exception of the 4.6 in screen. That's way too big for my mobile interests. Bummer.

    Nexus Prime

A longtime original DROID user, I recently picked up a used iPhone4. The OG DROID wasn't doing it for me, even with CM7, and I needed a good interim phone for the next many months. I considered and tested a bunch of current android phones but wasn't happy with any of them. On an android site...

    Gingerbread coming "by August 1st."

It sounds like the OG Inc will get GB sooner than that. This whole GB release across numerous phones is a mess. Inc2 is a very appealing phone, but I wouldn't touch it without GB or the ability to root and install a custom Rom. Heck, if it had shipped with GB, I would have bought it!

Getting the Inc 2 next week! Good choice??

Inc2 looks like a very good option to me, at least from LTE-lacking Montana. Global is nice, and there is something to be said for refinement of an already great phone versus testing the waters with bleeding edge new. Ps. If your iphone is Verizon, I might be interested

    Global

Inc2 looks great to me. I need to upgrade my OG Droid and global would be very helpful. Although LTE is theoretically global, that's a long ways off, and I live in an area that will be LTE free for some time. If I can get Verizon to unlock the phone, does that mean it is fully functional...
