I noticed a huge difference in just not using the Chrome browser. I had it active for 13 minutes and 16% of the battery was used up - I switched to another browser and in 15 minutes use only 1% of the battery had been used. Quite a difference.

Yeah I'm very skeptical too. I'm thinking it's better to get a case and screen protector for now and get it insured and if something more serious happens I'll be able to get a replacement then.

It really depends on your needs - like Laura said check out the apps first and make sure you are ready for what you decide.

Try different cables or chargers, but if it's been a couple of weeks of trying different cables etc., it might be worth considering that your battery itself is faulty?

It depends how long you have had the device as to whether you could get the phone replaced by the place where you bought it. If that's not an option I'd take it to a local repair shop and ask their advice - they're not going to do anything without your approval anyway. Let us know what you find...
