    HTC One: Microphone Issues

Digging up an old thread, but my two year old HTC One M8 started acting up just before the weekend. It wouldn't charge on my normal charger, but would when connected to my PC. As it had been getting slower recently as well due to too many apps, I decided it was time for a factory reset anyway...

Why is my HTC One M8 camera slow and lagging when trying to take a picture?

Yes, I'd love to know what off the wall thinking lead one to here! Zillions of years fixing computers and I'd have never guessed that.

Why is my HTC One M8 camera slow and lagging when trying to take a picture?

Is 1GB of RAM good enough these days?

I recommended a 1GB Cubot phone to my friend. It is NO WAY enough memory. Once the myriad of updates start installing, there is no room left for apps. First we took WhatsApp off, then Facebook and now it has no additional apps at all. Useless after six months... Going for 3GB model next.

I can't find any options for spell check in Chrome settings. Is there...

    No screen protector?

I gave up with screen protectors several years ago when Gorilla glass became the norm. I guess they may give some level of protection when dropped but my HTC One usually lives in it's case with a cover

    Exchange email auto-advance

Just taken delivery of HTC One from T-Mobile UK. Love it! But one thing I can't find on Jelly Bean (compared to my old HTC Sensation) are the auto-advance settings in Exchange email. This is the option that configures it to open the next email, the previous email or return to the conversation...
