My screen is still in pristine condition. They fixed it right. As a bonus, I now get almost 3 days wear from a single charge. Before the exchange it didn't even last a full day. This became a watch that I actually use and can recommend.

Tag sent me a brand new watch! Took 3 weeks as promised. So far so good! All apps reloaded themselves via Android Wear when I paired to my Galaxy S7. Upgraded to Android OS 6.01, and applied 2 security patches. Old watch was PE0537HR62xxxxx, new watch is PE0538HR62xxxxx. New watch is in pristine...

Mine is in the shop for the bubbles-under-the-touchscreen-issue. I never that this problem but I hope they fix it at the same time.

If I had to guess at the reason for this failure, it's the presence of dust particles during assembly. I bet they didn't assemble the touch screen in a clean room and they should have. All it took was some repeated finger pressure to make voids appear.

Same problem here. Took it back to my retailer and they are taking care of it.
