Nope I mean boot into recovery and install it from there.......

So i tried installing the OTA update manually and it did not work at all. After looking at the log file it said that the identity of my phone had something called 4.4.2 release keys but was looking for 4.4.4, despite me having a kitkat rom installed. BTW my phone is a converted google play...

Indeed crisis over, factory reset through recovery. the world is safe again. but for how long.....

okay so i flashed the google play edition rom on my phone, and i decided to disable the google search app to get rid of the constant google search on the phone. also i was told i should restart the phone to make the effect permanent, NOW PHONE DOESNT LOAD STUCK ON GOOGLE LOAD SCREEN, SOFT...

did a factory reset... all is restored...shame as now i dont plan to do anything else with my root haha cheers

Alright here's a story of a noob rooting and screwing it up =( so i rooted my phone, all was well, then i downloaded xposed framework. then a module called intelli3g. i decided i didn't like this and removed it. on removal of this module my mobile network no longer exists. it just doesn't show...

Thanks for the advice. Get the precision of SwiftKey with the simplicity of ios. Not a fan of all up in my face colours when using a keyboard !

Well there's no need to be mean about it lol. It suits the structure of the phone. It looks mature and it is reasonably well structured. As good as swiftkey it makes me a bit lazy with regards to typing. End up losing the skill and typing anywhere to get words up !

It just doesn't look professional enough to use swift key on such a well designed device like the M8

Fleksy was good but had no Swype support. Enjoyed the gestures.

When I first got my phone I used swiftkey for about a day but the stock keyboard just looks more professional. Swiftkey looks cheap no matter what keyboard skin you use. What do you guys think ?

10 days after mine neither can I ! Truly is a great device. I don't even want to use my computer anymore !
