I know there are ways to find out IF a found is rooted, but is there a way to find out the date it was rooted?

So I ended up sending my phone to Samsung for repairs, via Rogers store. Rogers calls me up today says Samsung is refusing to repair the phone, as they claim the phone was rooted. I've had the phone for a month...and it was never rooted...what the hell is going on here!!!

I've had the S6 edge for a bout a month now...stock launcher, and it just started having this issue this morning....I need to tap 5-6 times before it registers the touch. And it anywhere on the screen, not just the edges. Same issue in/out of case, flat or up, plugged in and not plugged in, safe...
