    Just got the Pixel 6 Pro last year, I like to wait a couple years minimum before upgrading so I feel it's worth it. Maybe Pixel 8, but if this phone is still good in a year I'll wait even longer for Pixel 9.

    So I *think* this is mostly fixed now with the Sept update. It's 3:30pm and I'm still at 85% with my normal usage today. Before the Sept update I'd be down to like 60% or less right now, so I think the idle drain is gone.

    My cell signal is not that great, but it hasn't changed since I've had the phone. The battery drain was never this bad on Android 12 with the same cell provider I've always had.

    So this was a complete and utter failure. My battery drained 10% in about 90 minutes. I only used google maps for about 20 of those minutes, then light usage with Chrome....something is wrong.

    Alright, gonna try safe mode this morning and see how it goes...I should notice a difference in just a few short hours on idle battery drain. Interestingly, safe mode disables Google Home, which is strange given that it's google's own app. Go figure.
