I googled and saw that this could be a software issue but if it happens again within the next few days I'm gonna take it back to the store

I am having the same issue. I looked through the settings to see if the feature could be turned back on but I didn't find anything

I have and I'm also able to respond to jabber messages

I use Any DO app. The app is not in the Gear store but the notifications/reminders appear from your phone to your watch.

Is this update only for the 3G versions?

I have both my S2 and Gear 2 paired to my Note 5.

It appears that the update has made the step count more accurate.

It may be the fitness tracker reminding you to move. Mine does that every 50 mins

I am basing my judgment on what I saw. My S2 does not count all of my steps

I have a fitbit flex and my fitbit is always approx 2k steps more than the S2. I have actually seen where I was walking and my S2 was not counting steps, and it was way more than 10 steps in the walk smh
