Considering this only ships with Androids that require the newer pricing plans, i'm not gonna take a chance of losing my grandfathered rate until this is established working for everyone without any issues, especially among grandfathered users.

I had the same problem briefly when I first signed up for Virgin, I called customer care and got elevated to their techs and the guy fixed the issue in no time. He said it was related to my number not being ported in quite right in their system. This was well over a year ago, however.

My Optimus V, which I bought the day it first came out, got bricked last Wednesday night. By Friday night, I had it's replacement... Another Optimus V. For now, it's still the best overall phone on Virgin, and even with the 2.5gb cap $40 a month is pretty good.
