I should also mention that Odin seems to recognise the phone. Every time I unplug it and plug it back in the ID:COM part of Odin goes blue and it says phone added (computer also says phone added) but I dan't get Odin to work. I've attached a picture of Odin showing the problem if that helps.

I did try another usb cable. I'll try another computer now. So this is a soft brick that can be repaired? Edit: I just tried it on another computer and got the same result.

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and I upgraded to Android 5.0.1 using Odin a little while ago. I don't really like lollipop though atm. It seems to drain battery much faster and keeps randomly closing apps when I am using them. So I went back to Odin to reflash the old Android 4.4.4...
