When I power on my Nexus 7 (not wake from sleep) it takes almost a minute before it connects to my wifi. Also get a very weak signal if I go upstairs. :(
And it's this weak wifi signal that triggers the screen flicker.
Do not have this problem with my Transformer TF-101 , iPad 3 or...
No, I've had three B50K Transformers and they all had some sort of light bleed.
So, if you are powering on your Transformer in a dark room, you don't see any light blotches around any of the edges during the boot process?
Doh! :-[
I did the same thing and re-applying US_epad-user-8.4.4.5.zip fixes it.
Just copy the zip file to your MicroSD card.
Make sure you put it in folder structure ASUS/Update/US_epad-user-8.4.4.5.zip
I have uploaded it here:
US_epad-user-8.4.4.5.zip
Will PM you in case this link gets...
That's kinda what my plan is.
I'll have:
A Transformer to tinker with and tweak.
An iPad 2 to do more graphic intensive movie watching, browsing and gaming.
A computer to do all the things that are not mean't to be done on a tablet.
I have an iPad 2 and after using a Transformer I was impressed how small and light the ASUS really is.
It's like an iPad that has been sqeezed horizontally to make it more 16:9
It's a bit thicker than an iPad 2 but not bad.
I like them both which is why I will be getting a Transformer as well.
The Xoom has a honeycomb like grid that you can see under flourescent lighting.
The PlayBook has horizontal lines.
The iPad has a grid but very hard to see.
So, if you look hard enough, they all have visible lines.
